I’ve never been ashamed to admit that I have mental health problems. It terrifies me how many people are struggling with their own battles and don’t even know where or how to start fighting back, but if you’re looking for some guidance then please take these words as a sign from the universe that it’s time for you to do something about your situation.

Talking to our ancestors on a regular basis can be an amazing way to communicate with the other side, and it also helps us stay grounded in this life.

There’s no set ritual that works for everyone so you should do what feels right for you but I like talking out loud because it draws me back from my own thoughts into reality where I feel more present.

It’s never easy telling someone how we feel if we’re struggling because then there is always a chance that person will think our issues aren’t worth much attention too.

But I promise: being open (and thereby making yourself more vulnerable) does help — not just by giving us an outlet where other people really listen, but also by allowing others the opportunity to support us as well

I know everybody’s situation is different. So maybe you don’t have space or time to do things exactly as I’ve said, which is totally fine because it’s all about YOU!

You make the rules and I’m just here to share what has worked best for me but you need to find a way that works within your lifestyle.

Maybe if there isn’t any personal space in your home where you can light candles and meditate then ditch the candle (or use an electronic one) so that instead of spending ten minutes deep breathing with no distractions at night before bed try five minutes alone in your car right after work listening only to yourself?

Even if you can’t make it to the park every day, do what is possible. Once things improve and get lighter for you (and they will!), then making time a priority becomes easier when needed.

If your schedule doesn’t allow one minute of meditation per day, commit to just ONE MINUTE EVERY DAY!

How often do you take a moment to reflect on your day and reset? It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle of everyday life, but taking time for yourself can be immensely beneficial.

Take this short minute break from reading what I’m writing right now by doing nothing more than breathing deeply and telling yourself things are going according to plan–it will make all the difference!
