Writing Your Goals Down Helps You Manifest Them
According to a study by Dr. Gail Mathews, people who write down their goals have a higher success rate of achieving them than those who merely verbalize them. Researchers found that people who wrote down their goals and shared them with a close friend achieved their goals at an even higher rate.
What can you do right now to put this new information to use? Affirmations are a powerful tool for manifesting your goals.
5 Ways to Start Manifesting by Writing
1. Write about what you want and why you want it

It’s easier to come up with innovative solutions to problems when you know why your goals are important to you. While it may sound counterintuitive, it’s possible to find a solution to your problem by focusing on the essence of what you’re looking for.
2. Focus on the feeling
As an alternative to simply writing down your goal, write down how you’ll feel as a result of accomplishing it. As a result, it prevents the exercise from becoming tedious or stale.
There are a number of ways to express your accomplishments, such as writing, “I am now a highly successful dancer.”
As a dancer, I have achieved great success. What a blessing it is to be doing what one enjoys! Being surrounded by other creative people makes me feel like a million bucks. The fact that I’m a part of something so amazing makes me feel at home and fulfilled.
Getting enthused about and emotionally connected to a goal becomes much easier when you put more emphasis on the feeling you want to achieve. Take a few moments to jot down your thoughts and feelings about the scene, and be sure to include specifics. If this excites you, you can do it on a regular basis or on a periodic basis.
3. Repetition, repetition, repetition
Write your goal down as if it were happening now, and you’ll be on your way to making it happen. Every day, repeat the phrase 15-20 times.
